The Mayor of Derby, Councillor John Whitby, opened a book of condolence at the Council House today to express sympathy and solidarity with the family and friends of victims caught up in Monday’s terror attack in Manchester.

The Mayor of Derby, Councillor John Whitby said:

“We are all appalled by the dreadful events in Manchester. No family should have to wave their children off to a concert for them never to return. Derby stands with Manchester and our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by this tragedy. ”

The book will be available for everyone to sign in the Council House Reception.
