From the start of the process back in 2013 when we first shared our vision to host the event, throughout the bid process, the Media Centre development which welcomed the world’s media, right up to the opening ceremony, the schools and City launch events and the Australia vs India Semi-Final, it has been a fantastic experience and the whole City can be proud of what has been achieved. We have put Derby on the map as a cricketing centre of the future.”
