The third Derby Book Festival returns in 2017 from 9 – 17 June in venues across the city with a programme packed with book related activities and events for all ages and interests.

There will be events featuring many different topics, including themes associated with Derby such as engineering, Royal Crown Derby, Joseph Wright of Derby, cricket, climbing and birding.

This year’s Festival coincides with the arrival of the Tower of London Poppies at the Silk Mill and the Opening Event will feature Birdsong author, Sebastian Faulks at Derby Cathedral on 9 June.  Tickets will be on sale from January 2017 online or from QUAD.
