This Saturday (8th September) Derbyshire Pride comes to Derby!
This year, celebrations are extra special, as 2018 marks three years since we in the UK voted to legalise same-sex marriage.
The day kicks off at 11.30am with a parade through the city. Anyone who wants to join in should meet from 11.00am at St Peter’s Churchyard, at the junction with St. Peters’s Street.
Celebrations will continue in Derby, on Curzon Street and Bramble Street, which will be packed with a variety of stalls and activities.
A number of acts will be performing throughout the day, with something for everyone. We will also be providing a BSL interpreter for the events.
There will be live performances from:
- Danny Bear
- Livin Joy
- Mizz Pink
- Kirby Frost
At 10.00pm the official after party starts at the Crown Inn, where you can party right through until 3.00am.
