Specialist bereavement charity, the Laura Centre, will be holding a colour run at Darley Park called the Colour Blast Dash to raise vital funds to continue their work.

The charity focuses on counselling for bereaved parents and children, doing vital work in the local community.

The event is aimed at being a fun experience encouraging families to run, jog or walk along the park course whilst wearing a white t-shirt. Throughout the course, different colour stations will blast runners with powder paint so they complete the course covered in all the colours of the rainbow.

There are two different courses to choose from for this charity fundraising event – a 5k or 2.5k – to suit all abilities. The event will be taking place at Darley Park on Sunday 7th May from 9.00am onwards and will cost £10 per person for the 2.5k course or £20 per person for the 5k course.

More information about the event and how to book is available on the Colour Blast Dash website.
