The Council and UNISON, together with the Head teachers in a number of schools, have continued to work together to resolve a number of outstanding issues following the industrial action which ended in spring 2017. The aim was to reach a solution that was acceptable to UNISON members in those schools and operationally benefits the schools, and ultimately the children of Derby.

We can confirm that progress has been made and that this matter is now concluded. UNISON can confirm that no further industrial action relating to the equal pay review will take place within the city’s schools.
