RAM Energy is working with local businesses around Derby on their newest campaign, launching Business Energy. One of their key business partners is DrivenMedia, a local business who launched into the spotlight on Dragons Den; RAM Energy has commissioned their help to advertise both business and domestic energy to people around the East Midlands.
RAM Energy spoke to local businesses to understand what they’d like from Business Energy; key feedback included 100% renewable electricity, advice on energy saving methods and simple, quick quotes. Taking this feedback on board, RAM Energy created their business offering.
Business Energy is an exciting new development for the RAM Energy brand. Business Energy will follow the same not-for-profit and customer-centric values as the domestic tariffs. Additionally, RAM Energy will be providing charities and schools a discount when they switch to RAM Energy. They’ll also offer businesses energy efficiency advice to help reduce energy consumption in the business without affecting performance. RAM Energy will be working with their partner Robin Hood Energy to deliver energy to businesses.
Councillor Roy Webb, Cabinet Member for Adults, Health and Housing, is delighted with the progress of RAM Energy.
“The RAM Energy brand is really developing into something Derby residents can be proud of. The addition of Business Energy is just the first of many additions to the brand; I know the team are working hard to make RAM Energy one of the best energy providers in the Midlands. Working with local businesses such as DrivenMedia is great for the brand and the city, showing a real sense of togetherness to work as a team to build a fantastic not-for-profit energy provider.”
Where possible, RAM Energy use local companies when additional services are required. Their largest printed advert to date is currently on an ATL Logistics truck travelling out across the Midlands from the South Derbyshire depot, a working partnership fostered through DrivenMedia.
Ed Hollands, Founder of DrivenMedia commented:
“We’re really excited to work with RAM Energy to promote them across the Midlands. Derby is where the idea for DrivenMedia came from and the city I started it from, I’m delighted to support this not-for-profit initiate from Derby City Council.”
Leighton Wood, Head of Distribution at ATL said:
“We’re excited to be partnering up with DrivenMedia again to host advertising on behalf of a not-for-profit energy brand aimed at people in the local Derby and Midlands area.”
Not a business owner? Don’t worry, RAM Energy didn’t forget about you. RAM Energy is currently running a prize draw with the chance for 10 customers to win £100 of free energy. Our green electricity tariffs for both business and domestic energy are certified as being sourced from UK based wind and solar generators. For every Megawatt hour (MWh) of electricity purchased for our customers, we also purchase a Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin (REGO) certificate, which proves the electricity is certified as being sourced either directly from the renewable generators or through a green wholesale energy provider.
